SRM Engineering

SRM Engineering is a respected specialist engineering company.Founded in 1980, and now successfully managed by a close team of Motorcycle enthusiasts, who have transformed the business into a thriving enterprise.

Relocating to a modern purpose built premises in the heart of mid Wales, we now employ 9 full time staff.

SRM ’s objective is to supply much needed quality parts to fill the vacuum left on the market caused by the demise of the BSA Motorcycle Co. in 1973. This has progressed to the development of reliability modifications, performance parts and the reconditioning of engine units. 

  

Another company, Devimead, was also involved in similar enterprises. Founded in 1973 by Les Mason, formally of the BSA Race Competition Shop, he had many years experience in race development and competition. In 1986 SRM bought Devimead from Les and incorporated all Devimeads services, products and knowledge into the company. 

 

SRM bought the precision engineering company Anker Precision in 1993, this company supplied precision parts to originally Devimead and then later to SRM. Who wanted more quality control of their special products and proceeded to produce these products “in-house".

                                                                               SRM have been continually expanding their operations ever since.
